SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO TAKE A STEP BACK πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

This is a picture from my second year of doing this blog. I recall being so excited that friends in Brazil, India,Great Britain, and Italy read what I wrote. In fact, I am still filled with a great amount of joy regarding that fact. I also recall wondering why that whole big piece of land between North America and Europe did not have one soul who did read what I wrote. That is when I learned more people live in the small city I live in than in the entire country of Greenland.

My life-long mission is to inspire, encourage and empower as many people as I can. I recall looking daily to see if this website reached 10 people. Every new country was so exciting to me. The thought that I could bring a bit of positivity to a someone halfway around the world just from my laptop brought me great joy. It also made me want to make bigger changes. Since then, with help from my fiance, I’ve launched my YouTube channel – Neil Panosian, my podcast – Living the Dream with Neil Panosian.

Then it happened. It started to feel like we were not reaching many people. I began to question my content. Was I really bringing something special to other people’s lives? Margie insisted I was, but I couldn’t see it. Sometimes when you are in the whirlwind it can be hard to see the difference you are making.

This is a picture of all the countries we have reached in 2024. Notice my friends in Greenland have yet to introduce themselves. Yet we are on all 7 continents and over 200 countries. That is just this year.

Looking at the 2 images next to each other, you would think one would have to be a fool not to notice how many more people are in our community. I did feel a bit foolish when Margie gave me the “I told you” look. My point of all this is not to get discouraged. It can seem like you are not making a difference, you might just need to take a step back. I would say have the objective viewpoint of the most beautiful woman in the world, but I’m about to marry her and she’s all mine.

Don’t give up on your dreams. Keep making that positive difference. You may not have an image to show you the difference, but every bit of kindness and positivity does make a difference. You make a difference.

MY INTERVIEW WITH A DINING GEM πŸ’Ž

Recently, I had the great pleasure of interviewing the owner of an amazing restaurant near me called Wild Roots. What he had to say about his restaurant was certainly wonderful. What really impressed me was the part where he said how important the mental health of his staff was and how he reminds everyone of that.

Being that yesterday was mental health day, I thought this would be a good interview to watch. Click the link below to be taken to my YouTube channel where you can watch that video, along with over 100 other videos on various self-improvement topics.

OCTOBER PSA

October is breast cancer awareness month. It is important to remember early detection is one of the best steps you can take to survive this terrible condition. For all those we have lost and all the survivors who fight on, let us offer support in anyway we can!

IT IS LOVE, NOT AN ATTACK.

MAKE SURE TO MAKE TIME β²οΈ

FOR ME, LIFE IS TOO SHORT

Maybe it was the whole dying and coming back to life thing? Perhaps it is my deep desire to learn about people. It could be my goal of discovering and reminding people of the beauty within them. Whatever the reason, I learned I’m not very good at casual conversation. Anyone who has spent time with me socially can attest to that.

In life there is time for nice weather we are having. type conversations. I just urge you to not be uncomfortable when someone dives deeper. In fact, take advantage of it. Foster those connections. Deepen that relationship. Life is fleeting. Let us all get comfortable with sharing our inner selves.

MAKE THE TIME β²οΈ

As we approach the weekend, let make sure to schedule some time for self-care. I am a guilty as anyone when it comes to using the weekend to getting to chores we were too busy for during the week. We must remember in order to get the most productive version of ourselves, it requires maintenance.

If this still isn’t making sense to you, perhaps this analogy will help. It is like driving your car and insisting you cannot spend the time or expense for an oil change. Sooner or later, your car will break down and force you to stop. At that point it will take a lot longer than an oil change and be a lot more expensive.

Give yourself a little self-care this weekend. Whether that is a quiet walk in nature or a lively coffee with friends. Think of it as an oil change for your mind, body and spirit.
