As most of you know, today marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attack here in the United States. When looking at the event, I thought it was important to look at motives. Why would a group of people want to kill so many innocent people?
I’m not going into the political aspect of everything. That is not what we do here. What I can say is that it is long past due for people to hold their government accountable for the actions they take. It is also time for people to learn that innocent lives should not pay for injustice, whether real or perceived.
The lessons that could have been learned from 9/11 sadly have faded with time. There seems to be more division and hate than we have seen in a long time. There seems to be less meaningful communication. This is the kindling that starts the fire of hate burning.

We need to open our hearts and our minds now more than ever. Punishing each other over and over again will only continue the loss of innocent lives. Let us to better for future generations.
