On a day in the United States where we celebrate becoming a country, it is important to remember the true source of freedom is far more personal. Our thoughts, our words, and our actions, that is what we have control over. I should say that is what we should have control over. In this country there is far more division than I can remember in my lifetime.
The problem exists due to many sacrificing their freedom of individual thought to that of the propaganda of a political party. We have seen people turn on friends and neighbors they formally got along with, even if they did disagree politically. It is time to take back that freedom.
